How do you use tiaki right inside ChatGPT?

Last reviewed 2 min read

In ChatGPT, add a custom connector with the address https://mcp.tiaki.de/mcp and allow access in the tiaki window. ChatGPT then drafts posts in tiaki – nothing is published until you approve it.

With tiaki in ChatGPT, you simply ask in the chat: “What occasions are coming up next week? Draft an Instagram post for one.” ChatGPT looks it up in tiaki, writes the draft and submits it for approval.

Step by step

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings and then Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced, switch on Developer mode. In business accounts, your admin has to allow this.
  2. Create a new connector. Name: tiaki, address (MCP server URL): https://mcp.tiaki.de/mcp, authentication: OAuth.
  3. Save – ChatGPT opens a tiaki window. Sign in if needed.
  4. Under Für welchen Workspace? (For which workspace?), choose your workspace.
  5. Under Was darf ChatGPT? (What can ChatGPT do?), set the permissions. Lesen (Read) is always included.
  6. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app and tap Erlauben (Allow).
  7. Back in ChatGPT, switch on the connector in the chat and get started.

Note: The labels in ChatGPT change from time to time. If in doubt, look for “Connector” or “Add app.”

Tip: By default, ChatGPT only writes drafts and submits them for approval. Nothing goes out without approval in tiaki.

You can see which AI assistants are connected in tiaki’s workspace menu under Programmschnittstelle (API) in Verbundene KI-Assistenten (Connected AI assistants).

Not working?

  • “Anfrage abgelaufen” (Request expired): The tiaki window was open too long. Start connecting in ChatGPT again.
  • ChatGPT reports an error after a few weeks: The access was disconnected or hasn’t been used for a long time. Connect again.
  • ChatGPT says a permission is missing: Connect again and switch the permission on in the consent screen.
  • Post stays “Zur Freigabe” (For approval): That’s intended – approve it in tiaki. More in Permissions and disconnecting.
