How do you connect Instagram to tiaki?
Under Profile & Netzwerke (Profiles & networks), in the Instagram card, tap “Instagram verbinden” (Connect Instagram) and sign in directly with Instagram – you don’t need a Facebook Page. All you need is a Business or Creator account.

With Instagram in tiaki, you publish posts, reply to comments and direct messages, and see your insights. tiaki never sees your Instagram password.
Step by step
- In the sidebar, under Netze (Networks), open Profile (Profiles). On your phone, you’ll find it under Mehr (More).
- In the Instagram card, tap Instagram verbinden (Connect Instagram).
- Instagram opens. Sign in with your Instagram account and allow tiaki access.
- You land back in tiaki. At the top, it says “Dein Instagram-Konto ist verbunden.” (Your Instagram account is connected.) and the card shows verbunden (connected).
- Tap your account name to open posts, comments and insights.
Note: tiaki needs a Business or Creator account. You can switch a personal account for free in Instagram: Profile → menu (☰) → “Account type and tools” → “Switch to professional account.” Then tap Instagram verbinden in tiaki again.
Tip: If your Instagram account is already linked to a Facebook Page, you can also bring it along via Facebook & Instagram verbinden (Connect Facebook & Instagram). You don’t need both routes – each workspace has one Instagram account.
Not working?
- “Das ist ein privates Instagram-Konto” (This is a personal Instagram account): Switch the account to professional as described above and connect again.
- “In diesem Workspace ist schon ein anderes Instagram-Konto verbunden” (A different Instagram account is already connected in this workspace): Disconnect the current account first, or create a separate workspace for the other business.
- “Dein Instagram-Konto ist schon über deine Facebook-Seite verbunden” (Your Instagram account is already connected via your Facebook Page): Then you’re all set – a second route isn’t needed.
- You don’t see a button: Only owners and managers can connect Instagram.
- “Der Vorgang ist abgelaufen” (The process has expired): Start connecting again in the same browser.
