How do you create a short link with a QR code?
Under Geteilte Links (Shared links), tap “Kurzlink erstellen” (Create short link), enter the long address and you get a short tiaki.me link – with click counting and a downloadable QR code.

A short link turns a long address into a short tiaki.me link. You can see how often it was clicked and get a QR code for flyers or notices.
Step by step
- Open Geteilte Links (Shared links).
- Tap Kurzlink erstellen (Create short link).
- Under Wohin soll der Link führen? (Where should the link go?), enter the long address, e.g.
https://…. - Optionally enter a Titel (Title) – only you can see it.
- If you’d like your own alias instead of a random one, enter it under Wunschkürzel (Custom alias). The link will then be tiaki.me/s/youralias.
- If needed, set a duration, password, email check or click limit.
- Tap Kurzlink erstellen.
- On the short link’s page, copy the address with the copy icon. Under QR-Code (QR code), download it as PNG or, for printing, as SVG (Druck) (SVG (print)).
Note: Before creating the link, tiaki checks whether the target page is reachable and safe. Clicks are counted without cookies and without IP addresses.
Tip: The trial includes ten short links. With a plan, you can create as many as you like.
Changing or ending a short link
Under Geteilte Links, tap the short link. Ändern (Edit) adjusts the settings, Freigabe beenden (End sharing) switches it off, and Wieder einschalten (Switch on again) turns it back on. Link löschen (Delete link) removes it completely.
Not working?
- “Das ist keine gültige Adresse” (This isn’t a valid address): Check the address, ideally complete with
https://. This message also appears if the custom alias doesn’t fit: it must be 4 to 40 characters long and may only contain letters, digits,-and_. - “… ist schon vergeben” (… is already taken): Someone is already using that alias. Choose another one.
- “… ist ein geschützter Begriff” (… is a protected term): Brand names, platform names or common words can’t be used as aliases.
