How do you set tiaki to reply to Google reviews automatically?
In the “Bewertungen” (Reviews) tab, “Regeln ändern” (Change rules) opens the reply rules, where you choose for each star rating: Notify, Suggestion or Automatic. Automatic only works for 4 and 5 stars, only with templates and after confirming with your second factor.
With the Antwort-Regeln (Reply rules), you decide what tiaki prepares for each new review. Nothing is published unless you approve it – unless you explicitly switch on Automatisch (Automatic).
Step by step
- Under Netze (Networks), open Profile (Profiles), tap your location and switch to the Bewertungen (Reviews) tab.
- At the top of the Antworten mit tiaki (Replies with tiaki) card, tap Regeln ändern (Change rules).
- Under Je Sternezahl (Per star rating), choose for each level: Melden (Notify – you just get a heads-up), Vorschlag (Suggestion – tiaki prepares a reply, you approve it) or Automatisch (only for 4 and 5 stars, only with template texts, never with AI).
- Choose the Wartezeit vor dem automatischen Versand (Delay before automatic sending), from 30 minutes to 1 day.
- Under So klingen die Antworten (How replies sound), set the tone (Herzlich (Warm), Sachlich (Matter-of-fact), Locker (Casual)) and the form of address. Add a Unterschrift (Signature) if you like.
- When you switch on Automatisch for the first time, enter the Bestätigungscode (Confirmation code) from your authenticator app.
- Tap Regeln speichern (Save rules).
Note: For 1 and 2 stars, Automatisch is locked – a human needs to handle these. Reviews containing a warning word never go out automatically.
Tip: Every automatic reply shows up as a notification first. Until it’s sent, you can hold it in the list with Stoppen (Stop) or adjust it with Ändern (Edit).
Stop everything right away
Switch on Not-Aus (Kill switch) in the rules. Then nothing goes out automatically anymore; suggestions keep coming.
Not working?
- “Regeln ändern können Inhaber und Verwalter” (Only owners and managers can change rules): Team members can see the rules but can’t change them.
- Automatisch won’t save: Check the 6-digit code. It changes every few seconds.
- No more AI suggestions: Once the monthly limit for automatic AI requests is reached, tiaki keeps working with templates and rules. You can see where you stand at the bottom of the rules.
