How do you hear about new messages and comments right away?

Last reviewed 2 min read

tiaki shows new inquiries, questions and complaints under Mitteilungen (Notifications – the bell). Under Einstellungen (Settings) → Benachrichtigungen (Notifications), you decide whether they also reach you by email or as a push notification on your phone.

On this page

In tiaki, you always see everything under Mitteilungen (Notifications) – that’s the bell at the top or the Benachrichtigungen (Notifications) item in your menu. The number on the Posteingang (Inbox) shows how many conversations are currently waiting for a reply.

Step by step

  1. Open Einstellungen (Settings) and then Benachrichtigungen. From Mitteilungen, you can also get there via Per E-Mail (By email).
  2. Find the Posteingang row. It covers new inquiries, questions and complaints from Facebook and Instagram messages and comments, suggested replies and “Mitarbeiter muss ran” (A team member needs to step in).
  3. Switch on E-Mail (Email) and/or Push.
  4. Tap Speichern (Save).
  5. For push on this device, tap Push aktivieren (Enable push) under Push auf diesem Gerät (Push on this device) at the top and allow notifications in your browser. Testnachricht senden (Send test message) checks that it arrives.

Tip: In the Mitteilungen list, you mark individual entries as read with the check mark or remove them with the X. Alle gelesen (Mark all as read) clears everything in one go.

Note: You set up push on each device separately – so once on your phone and once on your computer if you want both.

Not working?

  • “Push aktivieren” doesn’t appear: Your browser or device can’t receive push notifications. On an iPhone, push works if you add tiaki to your Home Screen and open it from there.
  • Push doesn’t arrive: Check that notifications for the browser are allowed in your phone’s settings, and send a Testnachricht (Test message).
  • No emails: Check your spam folder and make sure the E-Mail toggle is on for Posteingang.
